Questions we hear
every day.

Answered clearly, without the runaround. If something isn’t here, send us a message — we respond the same day.

Getting Started

Before you
reach out.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before contacting you?

Not at all. Most clients come to us with a general idea — a style direction, a room that isn’t working, a condo they’ve just taken possession of. We ask the right questions and help you get from “something like this” to a clear, specific plan. The first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

What is the best way to get in touch?

WhatsApp is the fastest. Send us a message at +506 6047-3326 and someone from the team responds the same day. You can also visit the showroom directly — no appointment needed, Monday through Saturday. For larger projects or if you are based outside Costa Rica, we are equally comfortable working by video call.

Do you work with clients who are not yet in Costa Rica?

Yes, and regularly. Many of our clients are purchasing or renovating a property on the Pacific coast while living abroad. We handle the entire process remotely — video consultations, digital catalogs, mood boards, and coordinated installation — so the home is finished and ready when you arrive. We have done this for clients across North America and Europe without a single in-person meeting before delivery day.

What is the minimum project size you work with?

There is no minimum. We have built a single custom headboard for a client who needed one piece done right, and we have furnished entire residential developments from scratch. Every project gets the same attention. If you need one thing, we will do one thing well.

Do you offer design consultations?

Yes. Our team works with you from the first conversation through to the final installation. For larger or more complex projects — full home turnovers, developer commissions, complete interior design — we develop mood boards either in-house or in coordination with your architect or designer. The consultation itself is part of the service, not a separate fee.

Custom-Made Furniture

Built in Jacó,
for your space.

What can you build custom?

Sofas, sectionals, dining tables, bed frames, headboards, nightstands, coffee tables, side tables, TV units, storage benches, shelving, and more. If it is made from wood, upholstery, or a combination of both, our workshop can build it. We also do custom kitchens, cabinetry, and walk-in closets — those are a separate service with their own process.

Can I choose my own fabric, wood, and finish?

Yes — that is the point of custom. You select the dimensions, the fabric or leather, the wood species, the stain, and the finish. We guide you through the choices with samples in hand at the showroom, or we send you a curated selection digitally if you are working remotely. Nothing goes into production until you have approved every detail.

What woods do you work with?

We build primarily in teak, cristóbal, and treated pine — all selected for performance in a tropical climate. Teak is the benchmark for coastal environments: naturally resistant to humidity, salt air, and UV exposure. We also work with engineered timber options for pieces where weight or budget is a factor, without compromising on structural integrity.

Can you match a piece I already own?

Usually yes. Bring us a photo, a fabric swatch, or the piece itself — our team can reverse-engineer dimensions, match a stain, or source a fabric that works alongside what you have. We do this regularly for clients who are adding to a partially furnished home rather than starting from scratch.

Can I provide my own fabric?

Yes. If you have a fabric you love — something you brought from abroad, a specific textile you’ve sourced — bring it in and we will work with it. We will advise on suitability for the application and the tropical environment before we commit it to a piece.

“Nothing goes into production until you have approved every detail — dimensions, fabric, wood, finish, and delivery date.”

Imported Collections

Curated from abroad,
chosen for here.

Where do your imported collections come from?

Our showroom carries pieces sourced from Indonesia, Vietnam, and across Asia, as well as artisan collections from Mexico. Each supplier is chosen for the quality of their materials and their consistency — we visit our sources and we know who builds what we sell. The selection changes as we find pieces worth bringing in.

Are imported pieces suitable for a tropical coastal environment?

Every piece in our showroom has been selected with Costa Rica’s climate in mind — humidity, salt air, and heat are our baseline, not an afterthought. We do not carry pieces that will not perform here. If something requires specific maintenance or has limitations in a very exposed coastal environment, we tell you before you buy.

Can I order a piece from your catalog that is not in the showroom?

Yes. Our online catalog and our supplier network carry more than what is on the floor at any given time. If you see something in the catalog that is not currently in stock, we can source it for you. Lead time for pieces ordered from abroad is typically 4 to 6 weeks once confirmed, subject to customs and cargo scheduling.

Can I see and touch pieces before buying?

Yes — and we encourage it. Our 600m² showroom on Calle Ancha in Jacó is open Monday through Saturday. Two floors of complete room settings, individual pieces, fabrics, and finishes. There is no substitute for seeing a sofa in person before committing to it. Come in without an appointment.

Timelines & Lead Times

When will
it be ready?

How long does a custom piece take?

Custom pieces built in our Jacó workshop are typically ready in 2 to 4 weeks from the date of approval, depending on complexity and the current workshop volume. We confirm the timeline before you sign off on the proposal — not after.

How long for imported pieces?

Pieces already in our showroom are available immediately. Pieces ordered from our suppliers abroad go through shipping, customs clearance, and import coordination — a process that typically runs 4 to 6 weeks. We manage it entirely and keep you updated throughout.

Approximate Lead Times

Custom-Made 2 – 4 weeks from workshop approval
In Showroom Available immediately
Ordered from Abroad 4 – 6 weeks including customs & cargo

Can you work to a deadline — a move-in date or handover?

Yes, and we do it regularly. Tell us your date at the start of the conversation and we plan production and sourcing around it. For turnkey projects tied to construction handovers or rental launch dates, we coordinate the full sequence — furniture, cabinetry, window treatments, installation — so everything lands in the right order.

What happens if there is a delay?

We tell you before it becomes a problem — not after. Import delays, customs holds, and material lead times are part of the business and we know how to anticipate them. If something shifts, you hear from us directly with an updated timeline and, where possible, an alternative solution.

Delivery & Installation

We don’t leave
boxes at the door.

Do you deliver and install?

Yes — always. Delivery without installation is not something we do. Our team transports, assembles, and positions every piece exactly where it belongs. When we leave, the room is finished. Not in progress. Finished.

Where do you deliver?

Jacó, Herradura, and Quepos are our standard delivery area. We also handle projects in Guanacaste, the Central Valley, and other regions of Costa Rica on a project basis — ask us at the quote stage and we will confirm coverage and any logistics coordination required.

Do I need to be present for delivery and installation?

It helps but it is not always required. For smaller deliveries, a property manager or trusted contact on-site works perfectly. For full installations — turnkey projects, complete room fits — we prefer to have you or your representative there for the final walkthrough so we can confirm everything is exactly as planned before we close the job.

Do you handle window treatments and cabinetry installation too?

Yes. The same team that delivers your furniture installs your curtains, blinds, kitchen cabinetry, and closets. We do not subcontract installation. Everything is handled by our own people, which means one point of contact and no coordination gaps between trades.

Large Projects & Developers

Multiple units.
One team.

Do you work with property developers and investors?

Yes — it is a significant part of what we do. We have furnished six of the Pacific coast’s finest residential developments, including Ciudad del Mar, Jacó Bay, Selva Coral, Casa Rio Mar, Live Jacó, and Mar a Mar. We understand the sequencing that development projects require and we coordinate around construction timelines, handover dates, and phased delivery schedules.

Can you furnish multiple units with a consistent style?

Yes — and we do it with precision. Whether you are furnishing 4 units or 40, we maintain consistency across every piece while allowing for the kind of variation that keeps individual units feeling like homes, not hotel rooms. We develop a package standard and work from it across the project.

Do you handle Airbnb and short-term rental fit-outs?

Yes, and we know what these properties need. Durability above all — pieces that hold up to guest rotation and frequent cleaning. Style that photographs well, because the listing image is the first sale. Practicality that makes the property easy to manage. We have furnished 58 Airbnb and short-term rental properties on the Pacific coast and we know the difference between what looks good in a showroom and what works in a rental.

What does a full turnkey project involve?

Everything. Layout planning, furniture selection and production, custom cabinetry, window treatments, lighting, décor, and full installation — coordinated by one team from start to finish. You hand us a floor plan, or just a set of keys. We handle the rest and deliver a finished home. See our Full Turnkey page for more detail.

The Showroom

Come see it
in person.

Where is the showroom?

Plaza Boulevard, Calle Ancha, Jacó — Locals #14, #15 & #16. Two floors, 600m², open Monday through Saturday. No appointment needed. If you are coming from outside Jacó and want to make sure someone is available to walk you through the space, send us a message in advance and we will make sure the right person is there.

What are your opening hours?

Monday through Saturday. For exact hours or to confirm availability on a specific day, send us a WhatsApp — +506 6047-3326 — and we will confirm immediately.

Do I need an appointment?

No. Walk in any time during opening hours. If you are bringing measurements, photos, or a floor plan for a specific project, a quick message beforehand means we can have the right person ready to sit down with you — but it is not required.

Can I see fabric and material samples at the showroom?

Yes. We carry a full range of fabric samples, leather swatches, wood stains, and finish options. If you are working toward a custom piece or a complete interior, this is the most efficient way to make decisions — seeing and touching materials in a furnished environment gives you a confidence that no digital catalog can replicate.
