Riviera Home Furniture · Jacó, Costa Rica
One conversation.
A finished home.
From the first message to the final installation — here is exactly what working with Riviera looks like. No surprises. No coordination headaches. One team that sees it through.
Step One
Tell Us About Your Space
It starts with
a message.
Most clients begin on WhatsApp. Some arrive directly at the showroom. Either way, we start with a simple conversation about your space — what you have, what you’re imagining, and the scope of what you need. Nothing needs to be decided at this stage. No floor plan required, no budget locked in.
We work with individual homeowners, condo buyers just taking possession, Airbnb investors, and developers furnishing multiple units. The process is the same for all of them. You tell us where you are. We take it from there.

Step Two
Showroom Consultation
This is where
the project takes shape.
We invite you to our 600m² showroom on Calle Ancha in Jacó — two floors of custom pieces, imported collections, fabrics, finishes, and full room settings. This is where ideas become decisions. You see the materials in person, we understand your eye, and together we define the direction: custom-made, imported, or a combination of both.
If you are based outside the Central Pacific, we work remotely by video call and digital catalogs. We have furnished homes across the Pacific coast — Quepos, Herradura, Guanacaste — without a single in-person meeting. It works. But if you can come to Jacó, you should.
“600m² of furniture, materials, and finished room settings you can touch in person. That is how decisions get made with confidence.”
For larger or more complex projects — complete turnovers, multi-unit developments, full interior design — this stage also opens the conversation about mood boards, which our team develops in-house or in coordination with your own architect or designer.

Step Three
Proposal & Quote
Clear numbers.
No surprises after.
Within a few days of the consultation, we come back with a clear proposal: every piece, its dimensions, materials, finishes, and a full itemized quote. Not a ballpark. Not a range. A real number you can make a decision from.
For larger projects — full turnkeys, multi-unit developments, complete interior design commissions — this stage includes a mood board developed by our in-house team or in coordination with your architect or designer. You see the space before anything is built.

Step Four
Production & Sourcing
Once approved,
we move.
Custom pieces are built in our own workshop in Jacó. The same workshop that has been operating on Calle Ancha for 35 years. We build in hardwoods selected for tropical performance — teak, cristóbal, and treated pine — alongside engineered options that resist humidity without compromise. Every joint is structural. Every finish is chosen for longevity in a coastal climate.
Imported pieces are sourced from our established supplier network across Asia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Mexico. If the item is in stock at our showroom, it is ready when you are. Pieces ordered from abroad go through customs, cargo scheduling, and import clearance — a process we know well and manage entirely.
We communicate the timeline clearly before you confirm, not after.
Approximate Lead Times
Timelines are confirmed at the proposal stage. If anything changes — a materials delay, a customs hold — you hear from us before it becomes a problem.

Step Five
Delivery & Installation
We don’t leave
boxes at the door.
Our team handles transport, placement, and installation. Everything is brought in, assembled where needed, and positioned exactly as planned. When we leave, the space is finished — not staged, not in progress. Finished.
Window treatments are measured, fabricated, and installed by the same team that built your furniture. Custom kitchens and closets are fitted on-site. For full turnkey projects, we coordinate the sequencing so that every trade moves in order and nothing waits on something else.
“One team handles transport, placement, and installation. When we leave, the room is done.”
We cover Jacó, Herradura, Quepos, and surrounding areas as standard. Projects in Guanacaste and beyond are handled on a project basis — ask us when you’re requesting your quote.
Step Six
After the Project
We’re still here
when you need us.
We are a family business based in Jacó. We do not disappear after the last box is moved. If something needs adjusting, if a piece arrives with a defect, if your space changes and you need to add to it — you call the same number. The same people who handled your project handle whatever comes next.
Over 35 years and 2,145 clients along the Pacific coast — from single bedrooms to entire residential developments — that continuity is not a selling point. It is simply how we operate.
“35 years in Jacó. The same family. The same number. The same standard.”
Many of our clients have furnished multiple properties with us over the years. Some began with a single headboard. Others handed us the keys to a 6-unit development. The relationship starts wherever it starts. It tends to continue.
